Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using iTrackExpense (the "App") or visiting itrackexpense.app (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

Description of Service

iTrackExpense provides personal and business expense tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting tools through a mobile application for iOS and iPadOS. The App is available as a free download with optional Premium subscription features.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use iTrackExpense. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

User Accounts

iTrackExpense does not operate its own user account system. The App uses your Apple ID and iCloud account for authentication and data storage. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID credentials.

Subscriptions and Billing

Free Tier: iTrackExpense is available to download for free with limited features.

Premium Subscription: Full-featured access requires an active Premium subscription. Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store and governed by Apple's Terms of Sale.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You may cancel at any time through the App Store subscription management settings.
  • Refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store.
  • A 14-day free trial is offered for new Premium subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period.

Family Sharing: Premium subscriptions support Apple Family Sharing for up to 6 family members.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use iTrackExpense only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the App to facilitate fraud, tax evasion, or any illegal financial activity.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems.
  • Use the App to store false or misleading financial information for deceptive purposes.

Financial Information Disclaimer

iTrackExpense is a financial tracking tool. It is not a financial advisor, tax advisor, or accounting service. The information and reports generated by the App are for your personal use and organization only.

We make no representations or warranties that the information in the App is accurate, complete, or suitable for tax filing, legal, or financial decision-making purposes.

Always consult a qualified tax professional or financial advisor before making tax or financial decisions.

Your Data

Your financial data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your financial data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your data. iTrackExpense is not liable for data loss caused by device failure, iCloud outages, or accidental deletion.

Intellectual Property

iTrackExpense, its logo, design, and all related content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR SITE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. The specific governing state will be updated following legal counsel review. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting an updated version on the Site. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
